? Draw Ss' attention to the pictures of the story and ask them, in L1, what animals they can see （a chameleon and a pupa which turns into a butterfly）.

BUTTERFLIES
They go through changes as they grow from the egg to the adult. The changes are called metamorphoses. There are four stages: egg, larva, pupa and adult.Butterflies lay eggs that hatch into caterpillars. Each caterpillar spins itself a cocoon and becomes a pupa.Finally, an adult butterfly emerges.
CHAMELEON
Chameleons are a kind of lizard, famous for being able to change their colour under certain conditions such us excitement, anger or fear. Their normal colour is grey or green. They live in trees and they use their tails to hang from branches. Their sticky tongue is about as long as their head and body and they catch insects by shooting this tongue out.
