To those outside the Catholic faith, you are a spokesperson for the Church. The purpose of this book is to help Catholics answer frequently asked questions and help navigate non-Catholics through misconceptions of the faith.This Q&A book focuses on the questions that converts encounter from baffled and angry friends and family regarding their conversion decision and addresses confusion, exaggerations, and differences in religious culture to help inform, calm, and connect. These same questions often challenge Catholics who grew up in their faith—this book offers the questions they seek too.

Kenneth Parker grew up in the Wesleyan Church and received his MA in Historical Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary. He became a Roman Catholic during PhD studies in Reformation History at Cambridge University. During his five years as a Benedictine monk, Parker studied 19th-century Catholic history at the University of Fribourg, Switzerland. He has been a professor of historical theology at St. Louis University since 1992.
