商品簡介
Grzeskowiak-Krwawicz (interdisciplinary studies, Artes Liberales of Warsaw and Enlightenment literature, Polish Academy of Sciences) presents the first version of Boruwaski's (1739-1837) memoirs, and uses differences between the several published memoirs as one of many sources in piecing together the life of the Polish-born entertainer who spent more than half of his life in Britain. Her topics cover dwarf of the salons; an involuntary adventurer; Josef Boruwlaski, Esq.; and Boruwlaski's two guises.
