商品簡介
This anthology was conceived to differ from the many other histories of scholarship on the Dead Sea Scrolls by recognizing the very different and often contrasting approaches and directions of scholarship, and to preserve the experiences of the aging and retiring second generation of international researchers, who worked personally with the first generation, now gone. Contributors reflect on scholarship in their own country, emphasizing the national interests that have shaped it there. Among the topics are research on the sectarian scrolls in North America, Canadian scholarship, trends and themes in Israeli research of the Halakhah in the Dead Sea Scrolls, Qumran research in France, German-speaking countries, and eastern and central Europe.
