商品簡介
Gagnon, a journalist who writes about Upper Michigan, profiles people whose lives are intertwined with Lake Superior, including men and women in the fishing industry, a botanist, a lighthouse keeper, a Native American woman who harvests wild rice from the lake every year, and a monk living on the lake. The profiles interweave history, culture, wildlife biology, ecology, and humor. Some of those profiled recall a different way of life many years ago. The book includes b&w photos of those profiled.
