Volume one of the annual series provides balance of payment data for 177 countries presented in two tables. Table one summarizes balance of payment components to highlight financing items, and table two lists the standard components defined in the Balance of Payments Manual. For countries for which international investment position data are available, a third table presents those data. An opening annex explaining the conceptual framework underlying international accounts is translated into French and Spanish. The second volume aggregates country data by major balance of payments components and identifies the data sources and compilations practices of each country.
