Medicine man Rolling Thunder was a healer, a visionary, and an advocate for environmental change. He was known in the '60s and '70s for his friendships with rock stars such as Bob Dylan and members of the Grateful Dead. This book, written by Rolling Thunder's grandson and a longtime student and friend, presents Rolling Thunder's teachings in his own words, along with interviews with a psychologist, a medical anthropologist, and famous personalities, all personally acquainted with Rolling Thunder. Their eyewitness stories, anecdotes, and factual accounts, many never before published, are interspersed with comments by the authors. The book includes a wealth of color photos. Sidian Morning Star Jones is founder of Open Source Religion. Krippner (psychology, Saybrook University) has written other books on shamanism. 作者簡介
Sidian Morning Star Jones, Rolling Thunder’s grandson and one of the caretakers of his spiritual legacy, is a graphic designer and founder of Open Source Religion. He lives in Boise, Idaho. Stanley Krippner, Ph.D., is a professor of psychology at Saybrook University and past president of the Association for Humanistic Psychology. The recipient of several distinguished awards and author and coauthor of many books, including Demystifying Shamans and Their World, he lives in San Rafael, California.
