商品簡介
As part of the five-year project "The Prehistory of Britain and Ireland in their European Context," archaeologists gathered to reflect on legal and administrative frameworks regarding archaeological investigations as part of building projects in the countries of the region, and the impact of such development-driven archaeology on the archaeological record. Among the 12 topics are Dutch archaeology serving two masters since the Valletta Convention; practices and results in Flanders 1990-2010; and North Rhine-Westphalia as an example of the legal framework in Germany, Denmark, England, Ireland, and France. Summaries of the papers are provided in English, French, and German. There is no index. Distributed in North America by The David Brown Book Co.
