Jim Frederick is the managing editor of Time.com, an executive editor at TIME magazine and author of Black Hearts: One Platoon's Descent Into Madness in Iraq's Triangle of Death.
A veteran of covering the U.S. military and the military justice system, Frederick has made two reporting trips to Iraq for TIME and wrote extensively about the case of U.S. Army Sergeant Charles Robert Jenkins.
