商品簡介
The editors (all of the Fiscal Affairs Department of the International Monetary Fund) present 17 chapters examining issues of health care financing and reform in countries around the world, including spending trends across different countries and time periods, future outlook for health spending across countries over the next two decades, reforms in advanced economies that may control the growth of public health spending, and ways for emerging markets to expand health coverage without incurring high fiscal costs. In addressing these issues, contributions draw on a range of analytical approaches--including case studies from Japan, South Korea, Germany, India, Taiwan, and Thailand--and seek to quantify the effects of specific health reforms on the growth of public health and on health care financing.
