商品簡介
Covering a century from the early homosexual rights movement to the present in many countries, Hunt (political science, Ohio U.-Athens) defines the key organizations and their leaders, the essential issues they addressed, and the strategies they employed. Some entries survey geographical regions. The focus is on the impact of gay and bisexual men and their allies on the gay liberation movement; a subsequent volume will so serve lesbians. The extensive cross-referencing mitigates the lack of an index. Annotation c. Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)
