Papers from a May 2012 conference are presented here in sections on 3D geometry, tasks and emotions, image manipulation, enhancing performance, real world modeling, 3D manipulation, and motion and rendering. Some specific aspects investigated include fast adaptive edge-aware mask generation, input finger detection for nonvisual touchscreen text entry, interactive cloud rendering using temporally coherent photon mapping, and understanding user gestures for manipulating 3D objects from touchscreen inputs. Other topics under study include editing and constraining kinematic approximations of dynamic motion, cybersickness induced by desktop virtual realty, and the effects of mindfulness meditation training on multitasking in a high-stress information environment.
