Papers from a December 2004 symposium describe recent research into catalysts for reversible hydrogen storage with complex metal hybrids, hydrogen storage in metal-doped nanotubes, oxides and atomically heterogeneous adsorbents, the effect of nanoscale phenomena on thermodynamics and kinetics, solid-state reactions and hydrogen spillover, and the relationships between material structure and hydrogen binding energies.
