商品簡介
This college-level textbook is intended to introduce students to modern comparative political analysis and comparative research methods in political science. It also covers the institutional features of government and politics (electoral systems and courts, for example), and the major players (voters, leaders, and interest groups) in the political processes of a selection of modern states. The book is innovative in that its emphasis is strictly on theoretical analysis rather than comparative descriptions of political processes. Lead authors Bara and Pennington (politics, Queen Mary, U. of London) and five additional educators contributed to this book. Annotation c2009 Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)
