商品簡介
Approaching the topic from the perspective of the political economy of communication, Fung (journalism and communication, Chinese U. of Hong Kong, China) explores the process of localization of transnational media in China. He focuses on entertainment and popular culture (film, television, and music industries) after China's entry into the World Trade Organization. He advances two core arguments: that the active role of the global media is to localize in the China market and that the Chinese state proactively receives and enhances the globalization of these foreign capitals.
