商品簡介
Having conducted research on Yugoslavia for about a decade before its collapse into nationalist rival states, Hayden (anthropology and law, U. of Pittsburgh) chose to track events closely and write on specific legal and anthropological topics--particularly constitutional debates, cultural politics, the construction of revisionist histories of the massacres of World War II, events surrounding the war in Bosnia, and the flaws of international humanitarian law--rather than to attempt to present a unified book on the Balkan conflict. This collection is the result, containing 15 papers originally published between 1992 and 2012. Annotation c2013 Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)
