Jessica Ewert, a sixth-grade teacher in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, has been teaching at the middle school level for 8 years. She earned her undergraduate education degree at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and is currently enrolled in the Curriculum and Instruction master’s program at Shippensburg University.
Amy Lena is currently the Math Supervisor at Cumberland Valley School District. Prior to becoming the Math Supervisor, Amy served as one of the district’s technology coaches where she helped teachers integrate technology into their classrooms. In her teaching career, she has taught at Cumberland Valley School District, Reading School District in Reading, MA, and Mechanicsburg School District in Mechanicsburg, PA. In her tenure as a classroom teacher, Amy taught English for 3 years before solely becoming a math teacher.
Susan Van Zile, a sixth-grade language arts teacher in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, has taught for more than 25 years. Recently she received the Pennsylvania State University’s Outstanding Graduate Student in Teaching and Curriculum Award. Susan is also a member of and the Capital Area Writing Project Leadership Council.
