商品簡介
Gerald (Ger) McDonnell was 37 years old when he became the first Irish person to climb the peak K2 in August 2008, but unfortunately he was lost in an avalanche during the descent from the summit. This book, written by McDonnell's brother-in-law, recounts McDonnell's life, his relationships, and his final journey, drawing on interviews with family and friends, first-hand accounts from fellow climbers, and Ger's journals. The book includes a wealth of personal color photos and color photos from McDonnell's mountain climbing expeditions. Distributed in the US by Dufour Editions.
