商品簡介
Following the same methodological principles established in an earlier volume dedicated to administrative documents from the reign of Sulgi, Hilgert (Assyriology and Sumerology, Friedrich-Schiller-Universtat Jena, Germany) presents transliterations of the 605 cuneiform tablets found at the ancient Ur administrative center of Puzris-Dagan and dating from the reign of Amar-Suena (2046-2038 B.C.), the third ruler of the Third Dynasty of Ur. The documents are arranged in accordance with the administrative activities of expending officials in chronological order. Also included are charts that organize and evaluate data of historical, religious, and socio-economic relevance revealed by the tablets. Distributed in the US by the David Brown Book Company.
