Annette Ratuszniak (Downing) is freelance curator to the Frink Estate, Julian Francis Collection and the Hildon Foundation. She has curated many exhibitions, including: Elisabeth Frink: a certain unexpectedness (1997); The Shape of the Century: 100 years of sculpture in Britain (1999); In Praise of Trees (2002-4); Elisabeth Frink: this fleeting World (2010); with many related publications. Dr Arie Hartog is Director of the Gerhard Marcks Haus, the museum of modern and contemporary sculpture in Bremen, Germany. He is a renowned specialist in modern figurative sculpture, and his published books include: catalogue raisonnes of Rainer Fetting and Waldemar Otto; Reg Butler: decent sculpture (2007); and Hans Arp: Sculptures - A Critical Survey (2012).Michael Morpurgo is one of the UK’s best-loved authors and storytellers who has written over 120 books, including Kensuke’s Kingdom, which won the Children’s Book Award 2000, and War Horse, which was adapted for the stage. In 1976, Michael and his wife, Clare, started the charity Farms for City Children. Julian Spalding was the director of art galleries for the cities of Sheffield, Manchester and Glasgow and established several award-winning museums there, including the Ruskin Gallery, the St Mungo Museum of Religious Art and Life, Glasgow’s Gallery of Modern Art and the Open Museum. His publications include The Poetic Museum - Reviving Historic Collections (2002), The Eclipse of Art - Tackling the Crisis in Art Today (2003) and The Art of Wonder - A History of Seeing (which won the Banister Fletcher Award for the best art book of 2006).
