商品簡介
Even a cursory glance at science news confirms that research on transplantation and novel treatments for diseases such as cancer, HIV, and tuberculosis has been moving forward at an explosive pace. Copiously illustrated with line drawings, tables, and photographs, Infection and Immunity links current developments in basic science with the realities of medicine in the clinical setting. Each chapter explores a rapidly evolving area of clinical science and highlights not only current areas of acute research interest, but also how the specific basic science connects to the patient.
