Cross-pollinating feminist theology with feminist sociology, a sociologist with a private consulting firm in Washington, DC helps educate sociologists and theologians on a "second Reformation" in American Christianity. The 976 abstracts of representative literature, 1968-1995, are organized into six broad subject categories: introductory and background materials, feminism and the development of feminist theology, feminism and womanist theology, the religious leadership of women, and responses and recent developments. The last of 24 sub-categories is an ecumenical Jewish-Christian feminist dialogue. Indexed by author, subject, and title. Annotation c. Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)
