She is also the author of the Poppleton, the Mr. Putter and Tabby, the Cobble Street Cousins, and the Henry and Mudge series. Her recent picture books with Simon & Schuster include The Wonderful Happens; Good Morning, Sweetie Pie; and Let's Go Home. She resides in the Pacific Northwest on an island much like the one in this book.
