David Cooper is the senior pastor of the 11,000-member Mount Paran Church in Atlanta, an adjunct professor in counseling, and the author of thirteen books. He holds a BA in psychology from Lee University, an MEd in counseling from the University of Georgia, and a doctor of ministry (DMin) from Erskine Theological Seminary. With a down-to-earth style that is easy to understand, he is a frequent speaker on Christian motivation and leadership for churches, businesses, and conferences and on the radio program Discover Life and through the Streaming Faith website. He and his wife also conduct marriage and leadership conferences and have two children.
