商品簡介
Feldman (Brite Divinity School, Texas) examines the exegesis of The Book of Joshua in the Hebrew Bible in six Qumran scrolls, which have been little studied before. Dated to the last two century BCE, he says, they are among the earliest extant witnesses of the transmission and interpretation of the book in antiquity, so are of prime importance in reconstructing the reception history of Joshua. Among his topics are Joshua's succession in 4Q378, the provenance and the presumed authoritative status of 4Q379, the place of Psalm 122 in 4Q522, the manuscript of 4Q123, text and commentary of 5Q9, and editions of Mas 1039-211.
