商品簡介
Prepared by Mathews as part of the Los Gatos Library and Museum History Project, this book features 114 pages of b&w photographs with interesting historical descriptions underneath each one. The exact dates they were mailed is not noted, but they appear to come from the 20th century, including many from the "golden age" of postcards before World War I. Since this town in California was originally christened as Rinconada de Los Gatos (Spanish for corridor of the cats), it is fitting that the first chapter consists of postcards featuring live cats and cat statues. Most of the other postcards feature buildings, roads, bridges and scenic railroad images. Contains brief bibliography but no index. Annotation c2010 Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)
