Maurizio Tiepolo is Associate Professor of Urban and Regional Planning at the Politecnico di Torino, Italy, which specializes in planning for developing countries. He has 18 years’ experience in physical planning assistance, vocational training, and research in Africa, Latin America, and Southeast Asia.
Silvia Macchi is Associate Professor of Urban and Regional Planning at the School of Civil and Industrial Engineering, Sapienza University of Rome.
