Graeme Harper is Dean of the Honors College, Professor at Oakland University, Michigan, USA, and an Honorary Professor in the United Kingdom. A former Commonwealth scholar, he has held professorships and honorary professorships in the UK, USA and Australia. He is Editor of New Writing: The International Journal for the Practice and Theory of Creative Writing, among other editorships, and has been a research review panel member for the EU Commission and the Joint Information Systems Committee (JISC) as well as a Senior Research Reviewer at the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC). He has won a National Book Council Award, and awards and fellowships from the BBC, Mutter Library, the Institute of Medical Humanities, UTMB, the British Academy, NSW Ministry for the Arts and MARBL/Emory University, among others.
