商品簡介
Talbot, a Wyoming native and freelance writer, culls historic b&w photographs from the collections of the Platte County Library, museums, state archives, and individuals to illustrate the history of towns and rural areas in Platte County, Wyoming, which was settled in the late 1800s. They show the evolution of the irrigation project that brought water and development to the Wheatland area, its farming and ranching, and the people and places of dozens of small towns that appeared in support of the community, including Chugwater, Glendo, Guernsey, Hartville, and the vanished town of Sunrise.
