商品簡介
This volume is the first in a series The Communist International in Lenin's Time collecting historical documents related to the formation and early political history of the Communist International (also known as the Third International) from the earliest preparatory stages in 1907 to the end of Vladimir Lenin's ascendancy within the organization, 1923. This volume covers preparatory years to 1916, three years before the official establishment of the International. It revolves around documents produced by Lenin, but also includes a large number of documents illustrating the perspectives of other ideological strains within the international communist movement (documents expressing the views of Leon Trotsky, Karl Kautsky, Rosa Luxemburg, Karl Liebknecht, and Grigory Zinoviev also appear, for example). The editor adds ongoing commentary on the political and historical context surrounding the documents. Chronology, index and glossary. This is a paperbound edition of a work first published in 1986.
