Reg Lascaris, an iconic South African advertising veteran, tells his own story, from how he started in the business and how his career in advertising grew, through dramatic ups and downs, to where he operated at the top of the game, with a portfolio of blue-chip clients and, presently, fame throughout the world for some of their most notable campaigns.

Each chapter ends with a set of lessons learned from that chapter of his life and career. These are lessons primarily for the young entrepreneur (that you should let nothing discourage you) but also for anyone interested in personal growth in their career (that honesty, integrity and decency are the best policies). The book is illustrated with photos from some of his best ad campaigns.

作者簡介

Reg Lascaris was born in Athens in 1947. He is a Founding Partner of TBWA Hunt Lascaris in Johannesburg, begun in 1983, and the director of TBWA Worldwide, which has over 11,000 employees in 100 countries. Lascaris helped his agency win the first advertising award at Cannes, and TBWA is also the only South African agency to have an ad in the Advertising Hall of Fame. Since then, Lascaris has contributed to TBWA's growth into one of Afrca's leading communication and advertising agencies. Lascaris is also a member of the British Institute of Marketing Management in London. His most famous TV ad was perhaps his mouse on the BMW steering wheel.
