Pulitzer Prize-finalist journalist Gregg Jones is the author of the highly acclaimed Honor in the Dust: Theodore Roosevelt, War in the Philippines, and the Rise and Fall of America’s Imperial Dream. A newspaper foreign correspondent and investigative reporter for thirty years, Jones lived in Southeast Asia for a decade and reported extensively from Vietnam. His coverage of wars and guerrilla conflicts has taken him to Afghanistan, Pakistan, Myanmar, Indonesia, India, the Philippines, Colombia, Guatemala and Mexico. He has been a staff writer at the Los Angeles Times, Dallas Morning News and Atlanta Journal-Constitution, and is a member of the Author’s Guild and Society of Military Historians.
