Rinsey Mills, respected motoring historian and author of several automotive books—including two on Cobras—is in the unique position of having been able to call on the full cooperation of Carroll Shelby in the writing of this book. Mills lives in southwest England.
Rinsey Mills, respected motoring historian and author of several automotive books, has owned both pre- and postwar AC sports cars for forty years. He has restored some and raced others, and he is the author of Motorbooks’ Carroll Shelby: The Authorized Biography, now available in both hardcover and paperback formats. He has also written three books about Cobras: Original AC Ace & Cobra (Bay View, 1990), Essential AC Cobra (Bay View, 1997), and Great Cars: AC Cobra (Haynes, 2003).
