商品簡介
Frost (legal writing, Southwestern U. School of Law) examines the connections between classical rhetoric and legal discourse by tracing the origins of legal rhetoric to the classical period and showing how modern theorists have unknowingly benefited from classical works. Using both classical and modern perspectives, he considers the relationships between legal argument, lawyer credibility and emotion. Frost also applies classical rhetorical principles to modern appellate briefs and judicial opinions to demonstrate the way a greater familiarity with classical sources can deepen understanding of legal reasoning.
