Differential Equations With Matlab ─ Exploration, Applications, and Theory

This is a textbook for a second course on differential equations or mathematical modeling after a student has obtained a background in multivariable calculus and possibly a first course on differential equations. This book provides a sense of intuition and practical theoretical know-how as it pertains to mathematical models involving ordinary and partial differential equations with and without noise. This book includes twenty five distinct models spanning various disciplines and will engage the student/reader by posing questions of all types: verifying details, illustrating theorems with examples and posing conjectures of actual results.
