The rich paintings of summer flowers make you feel the sunshine of southern France, where they were painted. Six cards reproduce detail of a thick stand of blue flags from the 1889 painting Irises, now in the J. Paul Getty Museum. The other six card show a closeup of four sunflower heads from the 1888 painting Sunflowers, from the Neue Pinakothek, Munich. The cards are really beautiful, and the two-tones of green striped envelopes complement them well.
