商品簡介
Working within the historical and cultural milieux of Polish, English, and American critical and literary traditions, Wojtas shows how a comparative textual analysis of Polish novelist and dramatist Witold Gombrowicz's (1904-69) selected works and their English translation exposes hermeneutically conditioned interpretations of the writer's account of existentialism that approximate the condition of translation. He investigates his idiosyncratic linguistic and existential trope through the theoretical lens of deconstruction to show meta-textual parallels between the philosophers of limit and Gombrowicz's existentialism.
