Interface Problems and Methods in Biological and Physical Flows

The four chapters were selected from the tutorials presented at the program Moving Interface Problems and Applications, held at the Institute for Mathematical Sciences at the National University of Singapore from January to March 2007. They cover the immersed boundary and the immersed interface methods, modeling and simulating nonlinear tumor growth, progress in modeling pulsed detonations, and the direct numerical simulations of multiphase flows.
