The Codex Judas Papers ─ Proceedings of the International Congress on the Tchacos Codex Held at Rice University, Houston Texas, March 13-16, 2008

This book contains the proceedings from the Codex Judas Congress held to discuss the newly-restored Tchacos Codex. Since this codex is a newly-conserved ancient book of Christian manuscripts which had yet to be discussed collaboratively by a body of scholars, this book is nothing less than a landmark in Gnostic studies.

April D. DeConick, Ph.D. (1993) in Near Eastern Studies, University of Michigan, is the Isla Carroll and Percy E. Turner Professor of Biblical Studies at Rice University, Houston, Texas. She has published extensively on mysticism and gnosticism including The Thirteenth Apostle: What the Gospel of Judas Really Says (London, 2007, rev. 2009).
