商品簡介
Illustrated throughout with b&w photos, this report presents the findings of archaeological excavations at 9 Albert Embankment in London. The fieldwork conducted there uncovered the remains of a pothouse operated by the Doulton company, which probably began operation in the 1870s and continued until 1926. In addition to describing various artifacts, the authors (affiliations not cited) examine the larger context of London's pottery industry and make connections between their findings and relevant documentary sources.
