商品簡介
This series is devoted to making facsimiles of all early modern English women writers available, as the editors note, in order to deconstruct the masculinist representation of early modern women. The fifth volume contains the translations into English that were made by Elizabeth and Mary Tudor (daughters of Henry VIII, both will go onto be queens) of French religious works. The facsimile of the 16th-century printed translations follow an introduction by Anne Lake Prescott. Annotation c. Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)
