商品簡介
Observing that social structure has played only a minor role in the development of the regulation theory of capitalist development and the debate on the transition from Fordist to post-Fordist growth strategies and that, conversely, regulation theoretical concepts are rarely considered in the debate on social inequality and stratification, Koch (U. of Ulster, Northern Ireland) has here sought to link the two by developing a theoretical model of the restructuring of labor markets and social structures of advanced capitalist countries on the basis of the regulation approach. After developing the model he tests it on empirical national case studies of the Netherlands, the UK, Germany, Spain, and Sweden from the end of World War II to 2003.
