An introduction to applied ethics, this guide is intended for students taking courses in law, medicine, science, teaching, social work, and other professions. Andrew Alexandra is the editor of the Australian Journal of Professional and Applied Ethics, the coauthor of Police Ethics, and the coeditor of Private Military Companies. Seumus Miller is a professor of philosophy at Charles Sturt University and the Australian National University. He is the author or coauthor of 10 books, including Corruption and Anti-Corruption, Institutional Corruption, and Social Action.
