商品簡介
This book is an early example of psychohistory approach, exploring how Richard Nixon's early life experiences molded his political opinions and impacted his later decision making. Of special note is the fact that although the book was published in 1972, before Nixon resigned from office, the book reveals the roots of Nixon's self-destruction, which was later proven in his resignation. Author Bruce Mazlish (history, emeritus, Massachusetts Institute of Technology) is a historian also trained in psychoanalysis. This edition contains a new foreword by Howard G. Schneiderman (Lafayette College). Annotation c2016 Ringgold, Inc., Portland, OR (protoview.com)
