Laura Robb began working as an elementary school teacher in 1963. She presently serves as a teacher and mentor, guiding teachers as they make the transition into whole language teaching. Robb speaks regularly at national reading conventions, and her articles have appeared in numerous publications, including the NEW ADVOCATE and PARENT AND PRESCHOOLER. Laura Robb and her husband, Lloyd, are the parents of two grown children, Evan and Anina, and make their home in Winchester, Virginia.
