I fell in love with Bermuda more than 25 years ago, and I can still remember the first time I set foot upon the island. I also remember that first flight in over the reef: the turquoise blue of the deep ocean, the emerald shallows, and then the verdant greens, pastel colors and glistening whites on the islands proper. Magical does not describe that first glimpse of Bermuda from the air.There’s something very special about this little group of islands. I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve visited the Bermuda; it’s addictive, an experience you’ll never forget, and I’ve been writing about it for as long as I can remember. Today, the island of Bermuda welcomes visitors from around the world, and it will welcome you too. You can spend a week, or two, or more, at one of the expensive luxury resort hotels, or perhaps one of small cottage colonies; or you can choose to stay at one of a hundred neat little bed & breakfast homes, guest houses or all-inclusive hotels, or you might like to choose from one of the many self-catering options. Just about every budget is catered for, and you’re sure to find something to suit your taste, and your wallet.
