Terry Chimes shares his story, from his days as the original drummer of The Clash (he left the band in 1977 only to be asked back in 1982), on to a succession of punk and heavy metal bands, to becoming a highly successful chiropractor. Told with humor and empathy this memoir covers his childhood, his entry into the world of rock and roll, his early years with The Clash and why he left the band, and the spiritual insights that have guided his life. The book includes a wealth of true stories ranging from wild antics on the road with a touring rock band to the challenges of carving out an entirely new career.

Terry Chimes was a founding member of The Clash, later playing with Johnny Thunders and the Heartbreakers, Generation X, Hanoi Rocks, Black Sabbath, and many others. In 2003 he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Clash. After 15 years he left the music business to pursue a career in alternative medicine. He became a doctor of chiropractic and also an acupuncturist. He developed a chain of chiropractic clinics, perhaps the most successful in Europe. Terry then turned his hand to training others in how to be successful. He currently runs Europe's largest consulting business in alternative medicine. He lectures and leads seminars all over Europe and the US.
