E-coaching ― Theory and Practice for a New Online Approach to Coaching

In a rapidly moving world where so many of our day-to-day activities are now online, it has become essential to adapt coaching processes in order to better suit our clients’ circumstances and needs. Above all, clients want sustainable and time-efficient results. Anne Ribbers is a researcher in the field of coaching at the Department of Human Resource Studies of Tilburg University, the Netherlands. She is a Psychology graduate from Tilburg and Columbia University, co-founder of eCoachPro (www.ecoachpro.org) and the editor of European Mentoring & Coaching Council's International Journal for Coaching and Mentoring.

Alexander Waringa is a social psychologist and certified e-coach. He is the co-founder of eCoachPro (www.ecoachpro.org) and a board member of European Mentoring & Coaching Council-The Netherlands. He is currently completing his Ph.D. research on the effectiveness of e-coaching at Tilburg University, the Netherlands.
