Old Stories, New Readings ─ The Transforming Power of American Drama

Dr. Miriam Lopez-Rodriguez teaches in the Department of English at the University of Malaga, Spain, where she coordinates the research group on American Studies. She received a Fulbright Postdoctoral Research Fellowship to study the Sophie Treadwell Papers at the University of Arizona, and publishes mainly on American women playwrights. Dr Inmaculada Pineda-Hernandez teaches US History at the University of Malaga, and is Vice-Chair of the English Department. Her main field of research is contemporary African American drama. Dr. Alfonso Ceballos Munoz is a Full-Professor at the University of Cadiz, Spain, where he lectures on American Drama and Poetry. His research fields include gay American drama and queer American studies. He is currently researching the work of American playwright Daniel Curzon.
