Janine Marchessault is an internationally recognized public art curator, professor of Cinema and Media Studies in the Faculty of Fine Arts at York University. She works with artists, designers, municipal governments, and community stakeholders to investigate new models of public art and the roles artists play in shaping the urban experience. Jennifer Foster is Associate Professor in the Faculty of Environmental Studies at York University. Her research explores the ecology, aesthetics, and politics of post-industrial urban spaces.Chloe Brushwood Rose is Associate Professor at York University. Her research explores the significance of contemporary art and visual culture for teaching and learning, with an attention to dynamics of social difference and self-representation.Aleksandra Kaminska is a Mitacs Elevate Postdoctoral Fellow at Simon Fraser University and a Research Associate at Sensorium: Centre for Digital Arts and Technology at York University. Her book, Polish Media Art in an Expanded Field, is forthcoming from Intellect Press.
